Funding for this project was provided by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP), Health Resources and Services Administration from September 2010 through August 2016.
The program was a partnership of four organizations committed to improving access to healthcare in rural communities. These partners worked to address rural physician workforce shortages by supporting the development and sustainability of RTT programs.
- National Rural Health Association (NRHA)
- National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH)
- Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub), Center for Rural Health, University of North Dakota
- WWAMI Rural Health Research Center, University of Washington, Seattle
Ongoing support of this project is provided by the RTT Collaborative, an organization working to sustain RTT residency programs as a national strategy in training physicians for rural practice.
